Castlewood Canyon State Park

Fee: $10/ASGD Member; $12/Non-member. Pre-registration: REQUIRED. Leaders: Hugh and Urling Kingery. Meeting Place: Colorado 86 and Castlewood Canyon Road (Douglas County Rd 51). From Parker the intersection is 1/2 mile west of traffic light in Franktown - OR - From I-25, take Exit 184 and drive 8 - 9 miles east. Park on the shoulder after turning on to Douglas County Rd 51. Description: Joint experts for birding winter ponds and canyon habitat. Bring binoculars, field guides and water for a 4 hour trip. Lunch will be at the Kingery's.
