Leader: Karleen Schofield. Meeting Place: Far end of the parking lot. Description: One of the premier sites for observing foothills species. Habitats include coniferous, riparian, and deciduous woodland as well as creek, marsh and brushy meadow. See late nesting and fledging birds. This outing involves several miles of moderately strenuous hiking. Bring lunch, water, sunscreen and bug spray.
