West Bijou is a jewel of the prairie, with 9,000 acres, a bison herd and spectacular vistas. In May, the grasslands come alive with bird song! Our day trip will include a short hike to view the K/T boundary and we will learn how it tells the story of the demise of the dinosaurs. Meet at PCC's Aurora site at 9am. Bring lunch, water, sunscreen, hat, close-toed shoes and binoculars (PCC also has binoculars for loan). Be prepared for our always-changing Colorado spring weather!
