Mockingbird likely one sitting in catbird seat
Gray catbirds are entirely slate gray except for the black cap and orange undertail feathers. Because they live in dense thickets, it's often easier to hear their mimicing song and cat-like note than to see this relative of the mockingbird and brown thrasher.
