Colorado Birder

I turned on NunnCAM the last few days and it is simple astonishing what birds have to endure in adverse weather conditions. For those interested there are many photos and videos from NunnCAM documenting these survivors! I can't imagine what "Chuckles" the Chukar goes through overnight but he's a trooper showing up each morning for the day.

P.S. I actually think the Horned Larks could care less about the weather ... :-)

Best birds of the storm Northern Shrike photoed and videod about 10 feet away from window; Lapland Longspur (heard and seen out front but never captured by media-darn!)

Hey Gary:

Thanks for sharing this....I actually had a red-shafted flicker zoom in and stay awhile even though I was in the window looking at him.....he was visiting my soot feeder.....our Albertson's store closed in Lafayette....and the butcher there used to give me large amounts of soot and/or hard fat for my feeder for free.....do you know of other grocer's that will do this?
