Colorado Birder

I am a PhD student mist-netting birds in the northcentral portion of Colorado. I am currently finding it difficult to locate and net any Clark's nutcrackers and gray jays and would appreciate any help. My permits include Boulder, Jefferson, Adams, Weld, Gilpin, Larimer, and Grand counties and I am trying to find places either on private land with permission (and hopfeully feeders) or National Forest or State Wildlife Areas but avoiding National Park and State Parks which require more permits (as part of this research we will catch birds using mistnets, band them, take very small blood samples (a few drops), and then release them on-site).

Thanks for any help - john
