Colorado Birding Trail is a major nature tourism initiative to promote non-consumptive outdoor recreation, conservation of resources by private landowners, and a diversified income for rural economies. The Birding Trail will link outdoor recreation sites, both public and private, into a network of sites where visitors can observe birds and other wildlife, often in addition to archaeological and paleontological treasures.
Audubon Colorado exists to inspire and work with people to conserve, restore and enjoy natural habitats in our state. We focus on birds and other wildlife through education, research, careful use of our resources, and by serving as strong voices for the natural world.
Colorado Birding Society is a non-for-profit organization born on March 15, 1995. Its initial goals were to promote conservation of wildlife and habitat. We are not a club, but a group of scientists and naturalists dedicated to the preservation of Colorado's resources. CoBus nourishes interest in birds, other wildlife, and valuable habitat by providing lectures, bird trips, and birding classes. We try to provide a pleasant environment for the enjoyment and learning about Colorado's birds and their habitat.
Colorado Field Ornithologists exists to promote the field study; conservation; and enjoyment of Colorado birds.
Denver Field Ornithologists formed in 1935 group is open to anyone interested in birds of the Denver area in particular, and the birds of Colorado in general.
