Larimer County Open Lands Manages some of Larimer County's great outdoor places including open spaces, magnificent water-based recreation areas and responsible land stewardship through weed management and healthy forest practices.

Bluff Lake Nature Center - Bluff Lake Nature Center's mission is to "foster lifelong learning and environmental stewardship of a unique urban wildlife refuge...Bluff Lake." Bluff Lake Nature Center occupies 123 acres adjacent to Sand Creek on the eastern edge of the Stapleton development. It offers a variety of native habitats including a seasonal lake, wetlands, short-grass prairie, a riparian zone and wetland woodland. Thanks to its 60 year history as an airport buffer, Bluff Lake has become an urban wildlife refuge for waterfowl, shorebirds, raptors, songbirds, deer, fox, beaver, reptiles, amphibians and other types of wildlife that visit or live at the site.

Douglas County Open Space - Douglas County Division of Open Space and Natural Resources seeks to enhance the quality of life for residents by protecting wildlife habitat, natural resources, historic sites, scenic views and Douglas County’s rural heritage while providing a wide range of compatible outdoor recreation and educational opportunities.

El Paso County Parks - El Paso County Parks provides some of the best parks in the Pikes Peak region! With over 7,000 acres of parkland, 85 miles of trails, a variety of outdoor recreation facilities, two nationally recognized nature centers, over 1,000 nature and cultural programs, and the El Paso County Fairgrounds and Events Center, we provide programs and facilities for all interests and ages.
