Is this an oriole?

This bird visited for a short time to catch a bite of suet. I can't identify it but it looks perhaps like an oriole. Anybody know?

A female Bullock's Oriole since they are the only one's here right now.

Thank you for confirming this. I realized she was a female because today a male and female appeared together at the suet. I'll upload some photos tomorrow. I had a field day in my backyard as I saw a hairy woodpecker, orioles, grosbeaks, blue jays, grackles, robins, warblers, doves, chickadees, downey woodpeckers, red-wing blackbirds, and house finches!

Hi Adrienne, Love your photos and  have a question for you.  Anything special in the suet you put out?  I would love to attract orioles, and the nectar never seems to work.  Thanks.

BTW (@Robert)-males are here ... :-) ... we've had in Nunn last few weeks and I had at least 6-8 on Greeley Poudre Trail last weekend. Gary

I meant Bullock's orioles as whole not just females.

Annie, I don't use anything other than a slab of suet from Walmart.  Nothing fancy at all. I've never seen so many orioles and grosbeaks attack the suet, and because I put out suet in May, I think that did the trick. I don't normally put any out other than wintertime but it was colder this year so I tried. And was I repaid!!

I did succeed in drawing orioles to some oranges I put out, but then the squirrels discovered them and gobbled them up immediately.  Wacky squirrels, don't they know they're not supposed to like citrus?! :)

We have House Finches who enjoy our oranges in Nunn. Gary
