I had seen another several times in hills above Nederland, but he always ran off quickly.

Thanks, Judith. My camera is always ready on county roads. No telling what you may see! Maybe a Bobcat. I missed a mountain lion once and learned my lesson.

Beautiful in all respects.  I'm so jealous!  I saw two late in evening crossing (running) across road by Hughes stadium last fall but couldn't get a decent shot in time.
