The keas are a species of parrot native the mountains of New Zealand. They are a very intelligent and curious bird, and are known to get into a bit of mischief from time to time. They have been known to peck off all the rubber lining from the windows of parked cars, and to steal shiny objects if not guarded carefully! This one was spotted near the parking lot of the trail to the Fox Glacier.
