Colorado Birder

Wild peregrin falcon near Tower Falls, Yellowstone NP. Yes, I know it was not taken in Colorado, but I was so geeked to get a shot of one of these that I had to share. It flew under our turnout overlooking the canyon and perched on a tree branch down the road. We went down to have a look and low and behold, through a break in the branches, there he was, and in good light too. I'll probably never get this lucky again!

Pat: Well, it may not be a Colorado bird but the bird doesn't care. Great shot!
