Colorado Birder

A 2008 picture of a Hummingbird I took, probably lost it's tail to a predatory animal. This Hummingbird could fly just as good as others, even chased away other Hummers. Someone has actually counted the number of feathers on a ruby throated Hummingbird, it has relatively few at 940 feathers. At the high extreme, the swan has some 20,000 feathers.
