"Nice shot Catherine! The ELC is the "Environmental Learning Center." I think it is affiliated with CSU. It is on the east side of town where the raptor center keeps it's ambasador birds."

"Yes, his beak wasn't very large....he was only about 7 inches long, so according to my Peterson's he must have been a Downy....
