Walden & Sawhill Ponds Very Busy!
Walden & Sawhill ponds were busy this morning. The highlights were:- Bald Eagle on the power lines east of Cottonwood marsh- Rook of Great Blue Herons on the west side of Walden ponds. Seven nests and 14 herons were spotted- Lesser Yellowlegs on the west shore of Cottonwood marsh- A couple of male Wood Ducks in Boulder Creek at the west end of the nature area- A pair of Osprey sitting on the nesting platform near Sawhill ponds.- Six Wilson's Snipe on pond just south of Cottonwood marshAside…See More
