I began with my enjoyment of birds when I worked with the Raptor Program in Fort Collins many years ago. That work then led to being "Raptor Relay' for the wounded raptors that were found outside of Fort Collins ie: Nunn, Carr, etc. I so enjoy the Raptors and love the drives on the 'Nunn road' (both west and east of 85)-everyday there is a new sight in the skies, on a post or swooping down into the fields.
I no longer volunteer at the raptor program because of the risk of bringing anything of danger (health wise) back here where my Exotic Bird sanctuary is, but I still watch them in awe.
