For some reason or other I never catch these guys just right, nice capture.

Nice catch of Burrowing Owl
I have to find another location where I can get some good shots of him. Saw him at Margaret's Pond on Monday but was on my way to an appointment. Sometimes he hangs out in the middle of the golf course.
What a gorgeous bird! So great that the injuries healed.

He first flew above and in front of me, then turned 90 degrees and followed a descending arc in my direction but several feet above my head..... I got the message.
