I have to find another location where I can get some good shots of him. Saw him at Margaret's Pond on Monday but was on my way to an appointment. Sometimes he hangs out in the middle of the golf course.
The Hawk that buzzed me last summer didnt come very close but he had to perform a very complicated maneuver to let me know he didnt want to share his meal. He first flew above and in front of me, then turned 90 degrees and followed a descending arc in my direction but several feet above my head..... I got the message.
where did you find your barn owls. i have been looking for them for a long time now and cannot find them.

Your photos are gorgeous. Have you been to Sanibel Island in Florida to photograph the water foul there? It's unbelievable.

Klaus, you also have some good photos, ospreys are common in fort collins, at prospect and timberline, running deer nature area. Saw two there this morning.
