Pale bill is an eastern, dark is a western. It's rare to see a western north of the Palmer Divide in Colorado. Nice shot! Steve

Nice shot! I'm saying this is a juvenile eastern Red-tailed Hawk. The breast is too white for a Rough-legged, the belly is white not dark. Also the area around the eyes aren't dark enough. (Sibley)

This is a Marsh Wren, I saw two near Jackson Lake last weekend on Morgan County Road 2. I've seen them in January at Latham Res. in 2003 & 2oo6.
