Hi Gary,
I still have to wait and see if I can make it on your birding trip on Saturday. I will hopefully let you know by tomorrow. It sounds like fun!
Opps! I guess I read it wrong on the Yahoo site, it looked like you were the person who took the picture. Thanks Gary for letting me know but it's still a great shot.
Thanks Gary - I'm on a bit of a roll I guess! It's been fun to see the pics pop up here and there. It was really cool to see the marten up near Cameron Pass. I'd never seen one before but had been consciously looking for one over the summer - especially when up in Yellowstone. No luck up there, but then that little fellow popped up out of the grass along Long Draw Road! I guess you never know when you'll see something cool. I think that's part of the fun of birding or wildlife viewing in general - its kind of like gambling - its always a roll of the dice.
Thank you Gray for asking & wanted to say what a Great opportunity to get a picture like you did with the Kingfish and Hawk. I know when I got my first chance to shoot a picture of a Bald Eagle (here in Traverse City) swoop in for a fish and carry it away and to get all of it from beginning to end & while the eagle was flying away with the fish a couple of sea gulls were trying to get the eagle to drop it & to shoot all this and the inter action between the eagle and sea gulls I was surprised that I was taking the shots, usually I'm so amazed with what goes on in front of me that I forget to take the pictures but this time I took them. This was one of my exciting picture taking. Thank you for adding me.

Thank you, Gary. I finally uploaded some of my bird photos - I have a lot more - just been too busy to upload them. Hey, do you know where I can get good Bald Eagle photos right now? I have a few, but want to get some more. Thank you for inviting me - God loves all of His critters and I do too!
I don't know much about birds but always thought I would enjoy learning about them. Now I have some time to do that and CO seems a great place for birdwatching.
thank you.. my mother was saying it was a mocking bird... so i tried to google it.. and it didn't come up... so i joined this.. thinking someone might know.
Gary, Thanks for the welcome. Long time amateur birder but never participated in any type of group activities. Looking forward to watching the season develope. A.J.
Thanks Gary. I'm an beginning birder so please bear with me. I feed niger in the feeders. I took the feeders down last winter when the birds disappeared. I filled it and put it out this spring but so far they have not returned. Someone suggested that the seed was bad but I don't believe that. I just don't know.
Hi Gary, this is a very nice site that you created, I know that I will enjoy sharing of the intrest and love of our feathered friends. Thanks Kenneth Mausolf

I'm not a new birder . . . just a new birder to CO (having been here a couple of years, but returning to the bird-world).
